SINGAPORE (July 17): Lapses in the stewardship of government finances highlighted in the last few years were found to have been repeated, albeit in different public sector entities this time round, says the Auditor-General Office (AGO) in its FY2017/18 audit report.

These lapses were found in the areas of contract management, IT and financial controls and management of R&D grants

In the area of contract management, AGO found lapses in the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the People’s Association (PA). And the Ministry of Education (MOE).
