SINGAPORE (Apr 5): Midas Holdings’ three remaining board of directors have stepped up to take charge of the problem-plagued company.

In an announcement on April 4, Chan Soo Sen, a former minister of state, has taken up the non-executive chairman role of the company.

Dr Xu Wei Dong and Tong Din Eu, meanwhile, have both taken on executive responsibilities as executive directors. The company says it will look for new independent directors to join the board.
