SINGAPORE (Nov 17): StarHub announced Friday that it is conducting a global executive search for a new chief executive officer as CEO Tan Tong Hai will step down from his position from May 2018.

“I have achieved what I set out to do for StarHub to grow its enterprise business and I believe it is now the right time for me to step down to pursue my own interests,” says Tan, who will also relinquish his appointment as executive director of the company.

Tan, 54, was appointed as StarHub’s Chief Operating Officer in January 2009, before he was promoted to CEO in March 2013.
