Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to add nine new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. The LOI was signed with aircraft lessor Azorra.

The additions will support Scoot’s network growth strategy, with the airline noting that the investment underscores its confidence in the growing demand for air travel in Asia. It adds that the addition will allow the airline to better match capacity to demand as it enhances its regional network.
