Singapore Technologies (ST) Engineering’s commercial aerospace (CA) arm has unveiled a new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility located within its existing Paya Lebar aerospace compound.

The new facility, built at an undisclosed “multi-million dollar” amount, covers some 10,000 square metres and will allow the group’s CA business to double its engine MRO capacity for CFM56 and LEAP engines to over 300 engines annually by 2027.

Combined with ST Engineering’s existing facility in Xiamen, China, the group’s total shop engine visits is on-track to exceed 400 by 2027.
