United Overseas Bank (UOB) is still bullish on the Asean region amid the current geopolitical tensions, reciprocal tariffs by the US, as well as the trade tensions between the US and China.

"As global supply chains divide, Asean remains an attractive market to do business with," says Wee in his speech at the bank's 83rd annual general meeting (AGM) held on April 21.

He adds that this is not the first time that the bank, in its 90-year history, has experienced volatilities and external shocks.
