GHY Culture & Media has entered into a contract agreement with Sure Legend to organise the Bangkok concerts for mandopop star Jay Chou. Sure Legend is 45% owned by Yang Jun Rong, one of GHY’s non-executive directors. Yang is also the manager of Chou.

Chou will hold his Carnival World Tour concert in Bangkok from Dec 8 to 9 at Thailand’s largest stadium, Rajamangala National Stadium.

GHY, on Oct 2, announced that it will be organising Chou’s concert in Thailand. The group had already completed Chou’s concerts in Malaysia and Australia in the first half of 2023. The group, on Sept 11, also said that it had invested in a series of Chou’s concerts in Inner Mongolia and China’s Shanxi province.

Shares in GHY closed at 38 cents on Nov 16.
