Soilbuild Construction has appointed Tan Hee Wee as chief executive officer (CEO) of the construction business company and the group on Jan 7.
The nomination comes on the back of the recommendations of Soilbuild Construction’s nominating committee, who found that Tan possesses the “requisite experience and capabilities” to assume the responsibilities of CEO.
Upon his appointment, Tan will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the company’s and the group’s construction business.
Prior to this, Tan was managing director, Southeast Asia, at the John Holland Group.
His appointment will be effective Jan 18.
Shares in Soilbuild closed flat at 6.2 on Jan 7.
