Hong Kong-based IT consultancy services provider Azeus has secured a contract from the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) worth HK$11.1 million ($1.9 million) on Jan 10.

The contract will see the Mainboard-listed company design and develop its new staff integrity checking system over a 16-month period.

The contract also includes the system’s maintenance and support for the five years following its implementation.

The works will begin in January, in which the majority of the revenue is expected to be contributed from the next FY until FY2028.

“We are pleased to be awarded the contract to develop the Staff Integrity Checking System for the Hong Kong Police Force. With Azeus’ IT services long track record of delivering high quality public service projects, we are honoured to partner with the Hong Kong Police Force to streamline their vetting process and increase its efficiency. This will further enhance our recurring income stream for resilient growth,” says Lee Wan Lik, managing director of Azeus.

Shares in Azeus closed at $8 on Jan 10.
