The contract is for 11 years with operations starting from May 2025. The JV will operate and maintain all of Stockholm Metro’s seven lines. This includes 100 stations, six depots and 107km of track.
Connecting Stockholm, the joint venture (JV) between ComfortDelGro (SGX:C52
) (CDG) and Go-Ahead Group, has been awarded the contract to operate and maintain the Stockholm Metro. CDG owns 45% of the JV.
The contract, which was given to the JV by the Stockholm Public Transport Administration, Trafikförvaltningen, will be CDG’s first rail contract in Sweden.
