Water treatment company Memiontec Holdings has secured $5.5 million worth of contracts for two wastewater treatment projects and one water treatment project in Indonesia.
The contracts have bumped up the company’s order book to $81.6 million as at June 30.
“Indonesia is a key market for the group and there are significant opportunities for us to address the water challenges in Indonesia with our capabilities, expertise and local experience accumulated over the past 20 years,” Tay Kiat Seng, executive director and CEO of Memiontec, says in a July 27 filing.

In the same filing, Memiontec says it has renewed its exclusive distributorship for PVA gel beads in Indonesia with Kuraray.
The exclusive distributorship, which started on July 1, will span a three-year period.
Kuraray manufactures PVA gel beads, which are a biocarrier used in biological wastewater treatment, says the company.
Shares of Memiontec were last traded at 24 cents on July 21.
