Therme Group, the Vienna-headquartered developer building a $1 billion “wellness attraction” in the Marina South Coastal area, has appointed former JTC Corporation CEO Tan Boon Khai as CEO of Therme Group Singapore.

Tan, who joined JTC in 2020 from the Singapore Land Authority, stepped down from the statutory board in charge of Singapore’s industrial progress in April 2025. He was previously senior vice president at CapitaLand and regional general manager for Singapore and Malaysia at hospitality operator The Ascott.
