Centurion Corporation is embarking on its next phase of growth strategy. Besides firming up more details on its REIT spin-off, including its name and portfolio size, the company launched its premium purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) brand, Epiisod, with the debut of the brand’s first property in Macquarie Park, Sydney.

The brand and property launch marks a full-circle moment for Centurion, which first entered the student accommodation sector in Australia over a decade ago. In February 2014, the company acquired RMIT Village, in Melbourne’s Flemington Road, along with the adjacent carpark building. The adjoining building had the potential to be redeveloped into new apartment buildings for university students or staff working in the healthcare industry in the area.

Since then, Centurion has expanded its PBSA footprint, all managed under the “Dwell” brand, to the UK, US and China. To date, the company operates 10 operational student accommodation assets in the UK, three in the US, two in Australia and two in China.
