Grand Banks Yachts will be halting operations at its manufacturing yard in Pasir Gudang, Johor between June 1 to June 14 in view of Malaysia’s movement control order (MCO).

The halt in operations is in compliance with the MCO’s stipulations in which only activities and services deemed essential by Malaysia’s National Security Council will be allowed during the two-week period.

In its filing to SGX on June 2, Grand Banks Yachts says it is unable to ascertain the financial impact of the developments on its operations at this stage, given that the Covid-19 situation remains fluid.

Shares in Grand Banks Yachts closed flat at 29.5 cents on June 2.
