Olam has joined a coalition comprising Temasek Holdings, Temasek Foundation, Singapore Airlines (SIA), SATS, Air India, the High Commission of India in Singapore, Kerry Logistics and the Pan IIM Alumni Association to provide crucial medical supplies to India to support Covid-19 relief efforts in the country.
The coalition will source and airlift essential medical equipment to meet critical oxygen needs in India.
Since May 2, the partners have sent 200 oxygen concentrators, 51,000 oximeters, 825 hospital-grade BiPAP machines and 30 tele-ventilators from Singapore to India.
They will continue to work towards providing more essential medical supplies to the country.

In India, Olam is also working with a coalition of private and public sector partners including the Singapore High Commission in India, Pune Platform for Covid-19 Response, ACT Grants, and other India business groups, local health authorities to procure and distribute medical supplies to hospitals and Covid-19 treatment centres across India.
Along with Temasek Foundation and the High Commission of Singapore in India, Olam will be donating 300 oxygen concentrators directly to the Government of Tamil Nadu for deployment in Covid-19 treatment centres around the state.

In addition, Olam has launched a company-wide donation drive to raise funds for Covid-19 relief efforts in India.
Shares in Olam closed flat at $1.70 on May 7.
