Munich-based Mediaplus Group has launched Mediaplus Singapore, a joint venture with Singapore-based independent media agency The Media Shop. This marks the latest step in the international expansion of Mediaplus outside home market Germany.
The new agency, Mediaplus (HOC Singapore), officially began operations on March 1.
The partnership combines Mediaplus’ global media expertise and data-driven capabilities with The Media Shop’s deep regional market knowledge. The Media Shop will continue to operate as an independent agency alongside the joint venture.
Mediaplus Singapore will serve as the group’s regional hub for Southeast Asia, supporting global Mediaplus and Serviceplan Group clients with media strategy, planning and buying, as well as data-driven marketing solutions.
The Media Shop is already supporting key international clients of Mediaplus, including Bosch ASEAN, Trolli and Dr Beckmann.
The agency will also integrate Mediaplus’ Global Data Platform, giving local teams access to the AI-powered tools and analytics capabilities developed within the Serviceplan Group’s House of AI ecosystem.

"With Mediaplus Singapore and the implementation of our global AI-based solutions, we can manage and expand more projects directly from the region,” says Matthias Brüll, global CEO of Mediaplus Group.
"Many brands are focusing their growth strategies on Asia’s high-growth markets. Cross-market insights into consumer behaviour are therefore becoming increasingly important."
The nearly 20-person team is led by Jessica Toh, co-founder & CEO, and Gary Tang, co-founder & managing director. Another key member of the management team is Jason Tan, who is COO & managing partner.
