) ’s cinema chains in Singapore and Malaysia. mm2 Asia is the parent company of mm2 Entertainment. The first titles will be released later this year, says mm2 Entertainment.
mm2 Entertainment has entered into a strategic distribution partnership with acclaimed Japanese animal studio, Studio Ghibli, to bring the latter’s beloved animated films to Southeast Asia.
Under the five-year partnership, mm2 will distribute 21 of Studio Ghibli’s iconic films including Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and My Neighbour Totoro, across seven territories, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Cambodia.
