“Let me say one positive thing about Donald Trump,” — a few hundred pairs of ears pricked up at these words by Kishore Mahbubani, former Singapore ambassador to the United Nations, on a panel at CNBC’s inaugural Converge Live summit — “for reasons I don’t understand, he doesn’t like wars — which is wonderful!” 

“He’s a pacifist,” suggests the panel moderator, CNBC anchor Sara Eisen. Sensing a pause, she then muses: “Shouldn’t everybody not like wars?”
