AIA Singapore has appointed Kelvin Kua as its new chief partnership distribution officer with effect from Aug 1.
Kua will replace outgoing chief partnership distribution officer Richard Wyber, who will be leaving the company after having been with AIA for 15 years.
Kua, who will report to AIA Singapore’s CEO Wong Sze Keed, joined AIA Singapore in 2011.
He comes with a wealth of experience in business development capabilities in the area of bancassurance and has grown his career progressively, says the company in a July 20 statement.
“I am delighted to welcome Kelvin to the leadership team as chief partnership distribution officer. With his proven track record and his deep understanding of bancassurance, I am confident that he will lead his team to achieve even greater levels of success,” says Wong.
“At the same time, I would like to underscore the importance of this appointment, as it once again demonstrates AIA’s commitment to talent development and internal mobility to ensure we give the best opportunities to our people,” she adds.
