Former cofounder and CEO of fintech platform Fave Joel Neoh has been appointed as the managing director of CircleDNA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed genomics and oncology company Prenetics Global Ltd.
Neoh will also be taking the role of chief consumer officer of the group. He stepped down from his position at Fave in early March this year.
CircleDNA offers comprehensive consumer DNA tests worldwide. The company is currently experiencing significant growth in developed markets as well as markets in Southeast Asia.
This is amid escalating affluence in Southeast Asia, which is steering consumer attention towards health consciousness in the post-Covid-19 era. This consequently fuels the company’s expansion in the region.
CircleDNA is also broadening its reach into the domain of preventive and personalised healthcare management. This expanded direction will include local country partnerships to incorporate a wide spectrum of services such as blood tests, telehealth services, personalised supplements and online to offline healthcare services.
These new products and services are scheduled to roll out over the next 12 months.

“In all honesty, after my recent departure from Fave, I had planned an extended vacation and even organised travel plans through mid-2024,” says Neoh. “[However, after] realising the immense potential for us to positively affect people’s lives, helping them to live healthier and happier, I made a conscious decision to shelve the vacation and join the cause,” he adds.
