GHY Culture & Media Holding has appointed Lian Lee Lee as its deputy CEO on May 14.
Lian’s last-held role was executive director of GHY Culture & Media (Singapore), formerly known as Perfect World Pictures Singapore.
Lian is the spouse of John Ho, a substantial shareholder of the company. According to the regulatory filing submitted by the company, Lian was not a nominee of any party, including Ho.

Lian was an executive director of Scorpio East Holdings from March 2003 to 2011, and re-designated as a non-executive director from March to June 2011.
According to GHY Culture & Media Holding, certain disciplinary actions were taken by SGX-ST against Scorpio East and some of its directors, not including Lian, in October 2011.
Shares in GHY closed 3.5 cents lower or 5% down at 66.5 cents on May 14.
