ComfortDelGro Limited (CDG) has acquired a property in Brentford, London, in the UK, from Waterside Places for a total consideration of £3.6 million ($6.6 million).

The property was acquired by Metroline, CDG’s wholly-owned but indirect subsidiary incorporated in the UK on Nov 25.

Waterside Places is a general partner of Waterside Places Limited Partnership and Waterside Places (GP Nominee), which is a joint venture between Muse Developments and the Canal & River.

According to CDG, the transaction will add a new site to its holdings in London and enable the business to invest in the development of a new bus garage.

The transaction has no material impact on the company’s net tangible assets (NTA) or earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year ending Dec 31.

As at 2.20pm, shares in CDG are trading 3 cents lower or 2% down at $1.47.
