Ascendas REIT, Ascott Residence Trust and Ascendas India Trust undergo name changes

Ascendas REIT, Ascott Residence Trust and Ascendas India Trust undergo name changes

Ascendas REIT (A-REIT), Ascott Residence Trust (ART) and Ascendas India Trust (a-iTrust), which are all owned by CapitaLand Investment, have changed their names with effect from Sept 27.

A-REIT will now be known as CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (CLAR) with a new counter name, CapLand Ascendas REIT. The REIT's counter code of A17U remains unchanged.

A-REIT's manager, which was formerly known as Ascendas Funds Management (S) Limited, will now be known as CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Management Limited.

Similarly, ART will now be known as CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) with a new counter name, CapLand Ascott T. Its counter code, HMN, remains unchanged.

ART’s managers will also be known as CapitaLand Ascott Trust Management Limited and CapitaLand Ascott Business Trust Management Pte. Ltd from Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited and Ascott Business Trust Management Pte. Ltd. previously.

At the same time, a-iTrust will now be known as CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT). Its new counter name is CapLand India T; its trading code of CY6U remains unchanged.

Likewise, a-iTrust’s manager has undergone the same name change from being known as Ascendas Property Fund Trustee Pte. Ltd. to CapitaLand India Trust Management Pte. Ltd.

The websites of CapitaLand Ascendas REIT, CapitaLand Ascott Trust and CapitaLand India Trust have also been changed to reflect their new names.

Units in CLAR (previously A-REIT), CLAS (formerly ART) and CLINT (formerly a-iTrust) closed at $2.70, $1.02 and $1.07 respectively on Sept 27.
