Hosen triggers SGX query again after share prices closed 55.7% up

Shares in Hosen closed 3.9 cents higher or 55.7% up at 10.9 cents on Jan 25, triggering a query from Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) at 5.02pm.

This is the second query issued in five months.

Hosen previously received a query from the market regulator in September 2020 when its shares surged 89.2% to 7 cents from its last closed price of 3.7 cents.

The packaged foods specialist company saw its share price rise steadily from the 7 cents at market open, before hovering around the 8 to 9 cent mark most of the day.

In the query, SGX RegCo asked Hosen to confirm its compliance with the listing rules, and to announce any information that may have caused the increase in share price.
