The negotiations began when both countries agreed to resume essential business travel on August 13.
Singapore and Japan will be launching the business track (or reciprocal green lane) on September 18, which will allow residents from both countries to travel for essential and official purposes.
The news comes following the conclusion of negotiations, according to a joint statement released by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs from both countries on September 11.
