Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL)

Singapore and Germany have agreed on the establishment of a Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) on Oct 23.

Indonesian citizens as well as Singapore citizens and residents are eligible to apply under the RGL or TCA.

The business track is the first framework that Japan will implement with another country.

The arrangement will allow the safe resumption of cross-border movement for a “limited number of people”, according to a joint statement from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs in Singapore and Brunei.

Travel application can be submitted from Aug 10 onwards

This will give both countries time to finalise the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) and Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA).
