SINGAPORE (June 25): What you choose to put your feet into just before you leave your home can make or break your look, especially when it comes to matching formal shoes with your office attire. Many men think that one pair is good enough to go with anything, but this is not true. While your suede loafers may work for the office, they are not appropriate for black-tie events. Berluti helps you find a suitable pair with the Eclair collection, which was launched for the fall/winter 2018 season. Eclair shoes feature a hidden welt stitching — which is invisible, as it is sewn inside the welt — that makes for a flexible outsole. Three models are available: the iconic Alessandro Berluti lace-up shoe created by Alessandro Berluti in 1895; the Caractère boot; and the Caractère buckled shoe. Each model is available in Venezia leather, which allows for patinas to surface for the deep black and brun shades.

Close shave
Shaving can cause skin problems such as dryness and rashes. The Body Shop addresses these concerns with a range of skincare products that comes in four easy steps to follow: cleanse, shave, soothe and moisturise. Products contain natural ingredients such as guarana and coffee to remove the skin’s impurities; maca root and aloe to calm and soften the skin; and green tea and lemon for hydration.

Of light and readability
Bell & Ross has added two new timepieces to its Horo line: the BR03-94 Horolum and the BR03-92 Horoblack. Harking back to professional aviation watches, with their square shape and graphic lines, the new timepieces reflect the spirit of the brand. The contemporary case features the house’s iconic shape — a circle in a square, which is reminiscent of the silhouette of a cockpit clock. The BR03- 94 Horolum chronograph comes in a limited edition of 500 pieces and brings to mind light and readability, with the “Superluminova” treatment making for easy reading in the daytime and at night. The colour used for lighting landing strips, an intense green, is used in the dial. A matching grey-green calfskin strap finishes the look.

Off the pitch
Louis Vuitton has caught the football fever and is offering stylish items in collaboration with FIFA. For example, the limited-edition Official Match Ball Collection Trunk houses 13 re-editions of the official match balls used since 1970 and is sure to be every collector’s dream. There are also exclusive editions of the Keepall bag (pictured) and Apollo backpack, along with a selection of small leather goods.

New improved range
Two years after Girard-Perregaux brought back the Laureato, it has introduced an expanded range of timepieces. Designed for comfortable daily use, the Laureato Chronograph offers flexibility at any given moment. The case is fitted with a self-winding movement driving three subdial counters and a date display. It offers impeccable timekeeping and features a comfortable power reserve and smooth activation of its pushers. The finishing includes Côtes de Genève, chamfering and straight graining.

Get Fresh
This year sees the re-edition of the Bleu de Chanel fragrance for men. This time around, more wood and citrus accents are added to up the freshness quotient. Fans will be pleased to know that the other notes, such as cedar, lavender and geranium, have been left intact.
