The past revisited
SINGAPORE (Feb 14): Fall/winter 2020 Missoni collection for men takes us back to the 1970s and 1980s where glamour meets bohemia. Models walk the runway in clothes with volume, texture, patterns and colour. Fabrics such as cashmere and cashmere-silk blends are used along with mohair, felted wool, brushed cotton and lamé blends. Vibrant shades also dominate the collection as midnight blue, jade green, burnt amber, black and dark bordeaux are seen everywhere.
Just for fun
Moschino has done it again. The new collection of bags is quirky and fun. We love how the designers made bags to look like a Chinese fan, an artist’s colour palette and even a guitar. Check out the full collection at Marina Bay Sands and Paragon.
Under the sun
Swiss watchmaker Omega launches a luxury eyewear collection for both men and women. Produced in partnership with Marcolin Eyewear in Italy, the brand’s new sunglasses take their design inspiration from Omega’s heritage and luxury timepiece range such as the Seamaster wave pattern on the temple tips.

We love his shoe accessories such as the structural square buckle, filled with square Swarovski crystals that are found on the Ninutra, turquoise satin slingback shoes.

The eco fragrance
At least 87% of the ingredients for Yves Rocher fragrances are of natural origin, with sources that can be traced, while some fragrances are 100% vegan. The company claims that the perfumes respect the planet and are produced entirely in Breton, France, with packaging that are recyclable. The new Perfume Collection captures experiences that celebrate life.
Wedding season
For those planning to tie the knot, choosing the right ring is the most important part of the process. Harry Winston will be launching its “Shape of Love” campaign where the different cuts of diamonds will be featured; plus the Ultimate Bridal Couture capsule collection that will showcase engagement rings that reimagine the intricacies of the custom wedding dress such as the corset lacing to the crystal embellishments. This is the first time the collection will be featured in Singapore; customers can look for their desired ring from March 27 to April 11. Make an appointment at https://www.harrywinston.com/en/ category/bridal-couture to view the bridal collection over afternoon tea.
