Piaget’s latest collection is inspired by the natural beauty of this world.

SINGAPORE (Jan 21): Mother Nature has given us an amazing play of light such as the sunset and the stunning riot of colours found in the Northern Lights phenomenon. Inspired by this, Piaget has created the Sunlight Escape collection, which is divided into three categories: Warming Lights, Exalting Sights and Dancing Nights.

Warming Lights

Pink, yellow and white diamonds reflect and refract light in this Sunlight necklace (main image) that has a solar centre emerald of 13.52ct, which gleams an intense green. Brilliant and baguette diamond lines represent the sunrays.

A signature of the Maison Piaget, the Golden Sunlight Manchette cuff-bracelet in pink gold is set with a marquetry motif of feathers and gold leaves, like scintillating light reflecting off a crystalline frozen sea

A pair of transformable earrings, the Golden Sunlight Earrings sparkle with emerald-cut diamonds. In its peerless delicacy and harmony, there is something transcendent about the work of feather artist, Nelly Saunier.

Exalting Sights

A symbol of happiness and eternal youth, cranes are magnificent birds that embody refinement and elegance. The Celestial Parade Bracelet and Ring are a stylisation of the cranes. The marquise-cut diamonds’ claws represent the thin and refined beak, while the gold branches set with diamonds illustrate their majestic spreading wings.

Like a winter dream, the Emerald Star Watch is coloured by a cushion-cut emerald of 1.89ct and marquise-shaped emeralds that illustrate blossoming leaves in snow

Dancing Nights

As evening turns to night, the sky becomes a dazzling new theatre of colours. Driven by solar winds, the aurora borealis sweeps silently through the atmosphere, flaring, fading and flaring once more. This is represented in the cascading necklace of drops and frosted points that sparkles in green. The Green Borealis necklace is crowned by a pear-cut emerald of 7.50ct and a harmonious ensemble of “kite-shaped” emeralds.

Two stunning pear-shaped 3ct emeralds are set on the dazzling Green Borealis earrings; the Green Borealis watch is represented by radiant delicate feathers to provide fireworks of colours
