Berluti’s fall/winter collection features resistant, lightweight and supple materials

SINGAPORE (Apr 9): The bags and shoes in the Berluti B-Way Nylon Scritto Collection are handcrafted in nylon that is mixed with Venezia leather and Scritto details. Scritto is a form of leather engraving that pays homage to calligraphy. Scritto motif is this season’s signature for the brand’s nylon accessories, creating an innovative testament to Berluti’s savoir faire and an elegant, timeless urban hiking style. The B-Way range comprises six singular products that will be available in Berluti stores from this month. We feature four here:

Volume MM

A medium-size backpack made of nylon jacquard Scritto that is ultralightweight and has a water-repellent finish.

Scritto B-Way Blouson

First seen in the autumn/winter collection, this waterproof jacket — not lined for maximum lightness — has the Scritto motif under a camouflage pattern, nubuck leather details and technical finishings.

Fast Track

mute

A uniquely comfortable shoe combining the sporty feel of the Fast Track sneaker and the mountain spirit of the iconic Brunico and Greta Garbo boots (named after Greta Garbo, for whom Berluti created its original ski boots in the 1940s). It mixes Venezia or glazed calf leather with a padded Scritto nylon heel protection for maximum comfort.

Duo

This versatile extra-large bag is a two-in-one and can be carried both on the shoulder with a large strap or as a tote with two handles. Scritto nylon paired with technical fabric and a calf leather piece at the bottom make for a structured, ultra-lightweight finish.

Never get lost

The G-Shock’s Master of G collection has a new addition — the Rangeman model GPR-B1000. In addition to displaying the current location on a route, or bearing to a location in real time, it also saves route and point data (including location, altitude and temperature) throughout a track. By connecting the GPR-B1000 to a smartphone via Bluetooth, its wearer can download logged data from the watch and view it as either a map or a timeline. Routes can also be uploaded from the smartphone to the watch.

A tie for every occasion

Buying ties can be a little overwhelming. The rule of thumb is to know the colours in your wardrobe and pick a pattern to suit the occasion. For example, don’t wear a loud, colourful tie if you have to give your staff bad news. Take your pick of designs from the Hermès spring/ summer 2018 collection.

DUAL TIME ZONES

Ulysse Nardin’s patented dual time zone feature is included in the 99-piece limited edition Classic Dual Time Enamel Boutique. Combining the UN-324 calibre with Silicium and a Grand Feu enamel dial, the watch allows instant adjustment of time with just the push of a button.

Perfect fusion

The latest addition to the Saxonia watch family combines exciting design elements with technical finesse. With an outsized date display, the Saxonia Outsize Date features a new calibre L086.8 movement with separate displays for the units and tens — one of A Lange & Sö hne’s most extraordinary technical developments. Hour markers in solid gold and the elegantly proportioned 38.5mm case underscore the overall personality of the classic white and black timepiece.
