A renowned jeweller and creator of exceptional watches and jewellery, Fabergé unveiled an exquisite selection of high jewellery creations and limited-edition egg objets at an exclusive event held at the Opera Gallery in Singapore on December 6, in collaboration with Tamás Lóránt. This by-invitation-only affair provided VIP guests with a unique opportunity to intimately explore Fabergé collections, showcasing several pieces never before seen on the little red dot.

A highlight of the exhibition was the debut of the Fabergé x Game of Thrones high jewellery collection named 'Chapter One: Dragon.' This exceptional collection, a collaboration between Michele Clapton, the Emmy and BAFTA winning Costume Designer for Game of Thrones, and Liisa Tallgren, Fabergé’s Head of Design, under the guidance of Creative Director Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, made its inaugural appearance in Singapore.

Limited to just 10 pieces each, these rare high jewellery creations blend Fabergé's artistic brilliance with the fantastical realm of one of the 21st century's most beloved television series.

Adding to the allure were three limited-edition egg objets from the 'Fabergé in Bloom' capsule collection (limited to 10 pieces each), paying homage to Fabergé's rich heritage by combining the iconic egg with the renowned flower studies for which Peter Carl Fabergé was celebrated.

The exhibition also featured high jewellery from the Fabergé x James Ganh collection, including the stunning Fabergé x James Ganh featuring Gemfields White Gold Emerald, Diamond, and Carved Quartz Crystal Transformable Necklace. Boasting a 50.93ct octagon cut Zambian emerald responsibly mined by Gemfields, this necklace transforms into a statement ring, providing wearers with versatility. James Ganh, Fabergé’s first 'Featured Designer' since 2020, collaborates on creating high jewellery that embodies Fabergé’s motto of 'A Life in Colour.'

A notable addition to the showcase was the debut of the Fabergé x Gemfields Empress Suite in Singapore. This high jewellery suite, comprising a Necklace, Earrings, and Ring, exemplifies Fabergé’s ability to celebrate magnificent coloured gemstones. Mined responsibly by Gemfields from their Kagem mine in Zambia, these emeralds, at least 500 million years old, not only boast visual beauty but also contribute to positive impacts for local communities and conservation projects. Set in 18k white gold, each piece in the Empress suite features large sugarloaf cut emeralds surrounded by white diamonds. The emeralds come with Gübelin Gem Lab’s patented emerald paternity test, utilizing DNA-based nano-labels for traceability back to the mine of origin, ensuring consumer confidence and trust.

A life in colour

Established in Russia in 1842, Fabergé gained prominence with Peter Carl Fabergé's creation of fifty ingenious Imperial Easter Eggs for the Romanov family from 1885 to 1916.

Officially re-launched on Sept 9, 2009, Fabergé is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gemfields Ltd, a leading miner of responsibly sourced coloured gemstones in England. Embracing the theme of 'A Life in Colour,' the jeweller draws inspiration from its rich history to design original pieces that reflect the Maison's past, present, and future. Using the finest coloured gemstones worldwide, Fabergé explores the art of colour, crafting creations meant to be cherished as future heirlooms.
