SEE
Tokidoki in the gardens

Gardens by the Bay

Add a little whimsy to your weekend by visiting Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome to view the current Sakura floral display featuring cherry blossoms in full bloom. As part of the spring-time showcase now on till April 3, there will be an array of cute tokidoki characters living amongst the luscious hanami landscape, complete with torii gates, Japanese floral art by Ikebana International Singapore, and a display of Japanese carp streamers on loan from the Japanese Association. Visitors can enjoy the ephemeral beauty of cherry blossoms as they explore a magical giant box with marumado (traditional round Japanese windows).

The menu of savoury treats includes Kitty-adorned quiches and buns filled with crab meat and caviar; smoked salmon and trout roe with homemade lox; and a stout barbeque-glazed Kurobuta pork. And for sweet treats, you can enjoy choux puffs piped with a creamy lychee custard filling; waffle and berries tea cake; as well as macarons and cookies. The meal ends with the delectable joy of spreading Devonshire clotted cream over a freshly baked scone, topped with Madagascan vanilla, lemon butter curd and strawberry marmalade. Anti:dote’s Hello Kitty Morning and Afternoon Indulgence starts from $72++ per person. To book a table, call 6431–6156 or email dining.singapore @fairmont.com.
