Four new iterations of the Royal Oak Selfwinding by Audemars Piguet now comes in 34mm model

The Royal Oak by Audemars Piguet was launched in 1972, at the peak of the Quartz crisis. It was the 70s and 80s when quartz watches replaced mechanical watches. But the Royal Oak went against all odds and the collection designed by the legendary Gérald Genta was a huge success.

In 2022, this luxury steel sports watch will celebrate its 50th birthday. Before the big celebrations begin, we take a look at this year’s collection by the Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer.
