Bell & Ross’ BR 05 collection is perfect for the man on the move
SINGAPORE (Sept 9): Who is the urban man? He is someone who works and lives in a big city. He enjoys exploring it on weekends with trips to museums and trying out the newest restaurant in his neighbourhood. He dresses well, in his own classic style.
With these qualities in mind, Bell & Ross has launched the BR 05 collection. The maison is known for its aviation and diver watches, and this collection is a slight departure from the timepieces it has been crafting for the man of adventure.
The BR 05 has many aesthetic and technical qualities that make it stand out in a competitive market.
Taking the iconic square shape of the aviation-inspired BR 03, the new collection remains faithful to the brand’s watchwords of legibility, functionality, and reliability and precision. The BR 05 has a look and feel of urban chic with a case that combines both the round and square shapes that have come to be Bell & Ross’ identity.
The design features an integrated case; the bracelet is fused to the case to give it a seamless look and feel. Bruno Belamich, Bell & Ross co-founder and creative director, says: “This integration of case and bracelet is not only in line with the brand’s visual identity, but also brings another dimension to the watch: the first link forms part of the case. This type of design harks back to the 1970s, and when transposed to Bell & Ross, it results in a graphic style that is both striking and modern.”
