SEE | Christmas Wonderland | Gardens by the Bay
Ring in the festive cheer this December, as Christmas Wonderland celebrates a decade of wonder with its return to Gardens by the Bay from Dec 1 to Jan 1. Visitors can admire 13 stunning light displays; soak in the holiday cheer with a multi-sensory experience, complete with “snow” in the tropics; hop onto new carnival rides; meet Santa Claus; dine on festive fare; catch live performances, and lots more.
With more than 27,000 sq m to cover, this year’s enlarged fairground comprises three magical zones: Supertree Grove, featuring the main showpiece, the Spalliera; Frosty’s Fairground, filled with carnival rides; and Gingerbread Grove teeming with desert stalls.
A multitude of festive fare featuring some of Singapore’s popular F&B establishments such as Burger & Lobster, Kebabs Faktory and Sofnade will be available throughout the event ground. There are also festive tipples at a whimsical Christmas-cracker themed bar by Hendrick’s Gin and a Brewerkz craft beer bar. Diners will be able to get into the Christmas spirit with performances by local artistes at Elfresco. Visitors can also do their Christmas shopping with a wide selection of unique crafts and gift ideas by local entrepreneurs at Mistletoe Alley.

Festive carolling | Voices of Singapore Choral Society
Join the Voices of Singapore Choral Society for a merry and magical holiday celebration at the Capitol Kempinski Singing Christmas Tree. Bring your loved ones and join in the holiday carols on Dec 1–3 (6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm), Dec 8–10 (7.30pm and 8.30pm), Dec 15 (7.30pm and 8.30pm), and Dec 16–17 (6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm). Performances are free.
A beloved annual tradition at Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza, the Capitol Kempinski Singing Tree is the first of its kind in Singapore, and will be adorned with dazzling lights and festive decorations, creating the perfect backdrop for a carol sing-along.

The VOS Choral Society consists of diverse singing groups and will perform 30-minute sets on the Singing Tree. In addition to timeless holiday classics like Jingle Bell Rock, O Holy Night and Because It’s Christmas, VOS will be part of the Enabling Lives Festival (ELF) on Dec 3. Headlining the performance segment is the VOS Starlight Voices, a choir comprising children with special needs, which uses choral music to inspire and raise awareness about the inclusivity of choral singing.
ELF, organised by SG Enable, celebrates the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. With a theme of “Celebrating Inclusion and Abilities”, the festival underscores SG Enable’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive community.
Art + alcohol | InterContinental Singapore
A one-of-a-kind experience that combines art, whisky, rum and cigars, A Joie De Vivre Pop-Up: Christian Develter Salon is an exclusive event that brings together internationally renowned artist Christian Develter, luxury spirit brand Samaroli, and London cigar house Sautter.
Now on at InterContinental Singapore till Dec 17, in partnership with Curate International, the exhibition will feature Christian Develter’s compelling artworks, including his iconic Chin Series and the latest Cigar Series. Guests can scan QR codes to purchase pieces online during this time.
Spirit collectors can look forward to purchasing the Develter x Samaroli x Sautter Series, which celebrates Samaroli’s distinctive flavour profiles and Develter’s iconic works. The collectors’ bottles, each of which only 180 bottles were produced, include Barbados Single Origin Rum, Trinidad Single Origin Rum, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, and Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. There will be six sets available for sale at InterContinental Singapore at $2,188.

Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2021, Bin 28 Shiraz 2021 and Penfolds Max’s range will all be available in packaging featuring marine artwork by Melbourne-based interdisciplinary digital artist, Mikaela Stafford.
As part of Penfolds’s focus on sustainability, the special-edition packaging is fully recyclable, while packaging for Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2021 and Bin 28 Shiraz 2021 is made using 75% recycled materials.

Chilling experience | Paragon
Paragon and Hong Kong Disneyland are partnering to launch the world's first "Frozen" themed land, World of Frozen, on Nov 20 at Hong Kong Disneyland. Celebrations kick off in Singapore with a 6-meter Olaf standing outside Paragon, inviting visitors to the immersive world of Arendelle.
This collaboration between Paragon and Hong Kong Disneyland aligns perfectly with Orchard Road Business Association’s 2023 Christmas theme for Orchard Road, titled “The Whimsical World of Childlike Wonder”.
