SINGAPORE (Aug 25): Dr Ang Peng Tiam renowned oncologist and CEO of TalkMed Group specialises in treatment and palliative care for people suffering from cancer.

On June 27, following protracted proceedings, Dr Ang was suspended by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for eight months for professional misconduct.

Despite the stock dropping 17% following the news, it is still up 20% since the beginning of the year and trading at 23 times the company’s FY16 earnings.
