Smaller club this year, but with new entrants

SINGAPORE (Sept 21): There are quite a number of new entrants to The Edge Billion Dollar Club 2018 rankings this year, as more companies became eligible for scoring.

To qualify for scoring, companies must also have been listed for four full calendar years, issued four annual reports and reported no losses in the period under evaluation. The number of companies that qualified for scoring increased to 91, from 86 in last year’s BDC.

A couple of the new additions this year have also managed to win awards. Among them is OUE Commercial Real Estate Investment Trust, which was named fastest-growing company in the REITs sector.
