Pent-up demand to boost consumer spending in 2018: RHB

SINGAPORE (Dec 19): RHB Research believes Singapore’s consumer spending is expected to see a pick up in 2018 on the back of pent-up demand.

This comes following the improvement in global economic growth this year, which has created increased wealth effect across the region.

Hence, RHB is maintaining its “overweight” recommendation on Singapore’s consumer sector.
