SINGAPORE (Dec 5): Singapore Exchange has appointed Michael Luk to be the new head of fixed income origination and sales.

Luk will assume his position from Jan 1 and will report directly to Chew Sutat, the SGX head of equities and fixed income. The scope of work in the new role would include growing the fixed income business, increasing bond listings on the local exchange, and encouraging institutional clients to adopt SGX’s new Bond Pro trading platform.
