SINGAPORE (Aug 8): SIIC Environment Holdings says its 92.15%-owned subsidiary, Fudan Water Engineering and Technology, has been awarded a build-operate-transfer (BOT) wastewater project by the Housing and Urban Development Bureau in Yuyao City, China, for an undisclosed sum.

In a Tuesday filing, SIIC Environment explains that the Yuyao City (Xiao Cao’e) Wastewater Treatment Phase 3 project entails the construction and operation of a wastewater treatment plants with a design capacity of 75,000 tons/day, with water quality of Grade ‘1 A’ standard for a concessionary period of 25 years

The group does not expect the transaction to have a material impact on its net tangible assets (NTA) per share and earnings per share (EPS) for the current financial year.
