SINGAPORE (Mar 16): Primary bond offerings from Singapore-domiciled issuers has slowed to US$6.7 billion ($8.8 billion) so far this year, showing a 21.5% decline in proceeds compared to a year ago, according to Thomson Reuters data.

US dollar-denominated bonds issued by Singaporean companies reached US$1.2 billion, a 42.1% decline in proceeds from 1Q17.

So far this year, the biggest bond issuance from a Singapore company has come from the Land Transport Authority (LTA), which issued a jumbo US$914.3 million bond offering in March.
