SINGAPORE (July 7): Singapore will release advance estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter at 8am on July 14, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Friday.

In the first quarter, the city state's economy contracted 1.3% from the previous quarter on an annualised and seasonally adjusted basis. Compared to a year earlier, GDP grew 2.7% in the January-March quarter.

Recent data have pointed to a recovery in growth.
