SINGAPORE (Feb 14): ST Telemedia (STT) announced Monday that wholly-owned subsidiary ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) has added three colocation facilities at STT Tai Seng in Singapore as part of its joint venture transaction with Tata Communications.

Under the agreement announced in May last year, STT will acquire a 74% majority stake in Tata Communications’ data centre business in India and Singapore, with Tata Communications holding the remaining stake as a minority shareholder.

The addition of STT Tai Seng on Monday completes the second phase of the strategic partnership, following the completion of the India data centre joint venture transaction in Oct 2016.
