SINGAPORE (Aug 10): Memtech International, the global components solution provider, reported earnings of US$4.9 million ($6.7 million) for 2Q17, reversing from the loss of US$1.4 million posted in the same period a year ago.

SINGAPORE (Aug 10): Restaurant chain operator Soup Restaurant has announced $0.3 million in earnings for 2Q17, reversing from its loss of $0.2 million in the same period a year ago due to higher revenue.

SINGAPORE (Aug 10): Agribusiness Wilmar International has swung back into the black with earnings of US$60.2 million ($82.1 million) for the 2Q17 ended June, compared to the US$220.1 million loss it posted in the same period a year ago.

SINGAPORE (Aug 8): Rotary Engineering reported 2Q17 earnings of $1.2 million, or a 43% decline from the $2 million reported in 2Q16 when profits were higher as the group reached completion on major projects.

SINGAPORE (Aug 8): Real estate group Boustead Projects announced a 5% fall in 1Q18 earnings to $5.8 million from $6.1 million a year ago on lower revenue.  

SINGAPORE (Aug 8): Engro Corporation, the provider of building materials, reported earnings of $0.9 million for the 2Q17 ended June, down 80.5% from its earnings of $4.5 million in 2Q16.

SINGAPORE (Aug 7): Kimly, Singapore’s largest traditional coffee shop operator, posted earnings of $5.2 million for the 3Q17 ended June, down 20% from its $6.5 million in earnings for 3Q16 due to higher expenses. 

SINGAPORE (Aug 7): Property developer Wee Hur Holdings reported 2Q17 earnings of $3.3 million, double of the $1.6 million it posted in 2Q16 a year ago on higher other items of income, mainly due to higher translation and fair value gains.   

SINGAPORE (Aug 7): Best World International announced earnings of $21.7 million for the 1H17 ended June, surging 62.7% from $13.3 million in earnings reported in 1H16 on higher revenue and lower distribution costs.

SINGAPORE (Aug 7): Property group Ho Bee Land has announced earnings of $36.1 million for the 2Q17 ended June, 14.1% lower compared to the group’s $42 million earnings posted in 2Q16 on lower revenue.
