Global Invacom to supply new-generation product to existing customer

SINGAPORE (Sept 6): Global Invacom Group, the satellite communications equipment provider, says it has received approval from one of its largest customers to supply a new triple-feed Low Noise Block (LNB) product covering the western US region.

In a Wednesday announcement, Global Invacom claims to now be one of only two suppliers for this new generation of product to the said customer, whom it did not name but referred to as “a leading US satellite TV broadcaster”.

The group on Aug 22 secured formal approval from the customer to supply the Western Arc Triple (WA Triple), which uses Digital Channel Stacking (DCSS) technology. The WA Triple is used within a 16-tuner system, which enables a simpler installation with less cabling than other systems.
