SINGAPORE (Aug 15): UOB Group says it is not expecting any negative trade action to take place between US and China, at least in the next three to six months. 

This comes as US President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive memorandum to authorise US Trade Representative (USTR) Robert Lighthizer to consider launching an investigation into China’s alleged theft of American intellectual property (IP).
