The world is at a turning point. As long-standing understandings, alliances and institutions of the old order break down, new political configurations will emerge. Economic activity in both the US and China is set to slow, and a relatively benign global economy will give way to a more troubled one.

Recognising that the global political and economic landscape is undergoing permanent change, policymakers, corporate strategists and financial investors will accelerate their adjustments. Asian nations must take a proactive role in shaping the emerging order.
