Last year, Chew On This warned in the “bromance” of Elon Musk and Donald Trump that these two titans may eventually clash, resulting in jeopardy for Tesla stock punters. Riding the wave of this Perfect Celebrity union was successful for a while as Tesla’s stock doubled as the world’s richest man wielded his DOGE influence in the White House.

Musk was on a roll, raising funding at large valuations for his private enterprises and rolling up his loss-making X. As his brand and money failed to move the Republican machinery forward, the First Bro was soon eased out of his government roles by May, politely, initially.

However, when Musk turned Judas over Trump’s Triple B Bill, posting allegations on X, Trump reciprocated on Truth Social with threats and insults. The resulting carnage looked like a Bloody Mary for the Republicans’ mid-terms.
