The AIC is located at Temasek Polytechnic and will promote research projects in the area of aquaculture to improve Singapore’s food resilience. Some of the focus areas include nutrition and feed development, disease management, breeding and genetics, amongst other innovations and emerging trends, employing an integrated and inclusive approach.
SINGAPORE (June 26): Oceanus Group, the premium seafood value chain manager, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Temasek Polytechnic to collaborate with the Aquaculture Innovation Centre (AIC) consortium in aquaculture research activities.
Oceanus’ subsidiary, Oceanus Oceanic Institute (OOI), will collaborate with the AIC consortium in areas such as joint research, intellectual assets enhancement projects and providing student training opportunities in the group’s farm.
