Genting Property launched the 2,300-acre Johor Tech Smart City (JTSC), a master-planned development in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) in Kulai, on June 12.

With an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM80 billion ($25.36 billion) and a projected workforce exceeding 10,000, JTSC is among the largest private-sector development announcements in Johor’s history. The project comprises two core precincts: a 500-acre AgTech Campus and a 1,700-acre Knowledge AI Campus, integrating smart farming, AI, advanced infrastructure and sustainable urban design.
